Thats right just spoke to Tom at Revolution wheels. They are making a new wheel that is 15 by 7 four lug that will fit under stock fenders!!!They are about $230 a wheel. If he can sell 10 or more sets the price will greatly reduce. give him a call or goto his web site ( what's happening area).

the RZX looks cool... can't say I care for the 4-spoke ones..
the traditional 5-spoke and RFX(NOT GOLD) are *ok* I think it's great that the new rims are available!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif) I still prefer polished Fuchs IMHO... |

looks heavy to me, I know in the past their other wheels had been on the heavy side..........
it does have that "ricer" look, but then again, so do my wheels (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

I wanna know when they are gonna make a 17 inch rim, with 4X120 lug patterns, that fit under a stock-bodied 914.

Ok..... I jusat got off the phone with TOM... the owner of this place (nice guy by the way).
Yes..... they do make a 17 inch wheel, with the 4X130 lug pattern, and the correct backspacing to fit under a stock-fendered teener He quoted me a price of $1150, including necessary lugbolts, shipped to my door. HOWEVER, group buys are available. I doubt I can get 48 people to buy them, but MAYBE we can find 4?? If 4 people order them, we each can get everything for under $1000. I'm gonna buy.... regardless..... but if you may be interested in a group buy.... lemmy know... just PM me. Cheers (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Matt |

I just received a set of the 17x7s a couple of weeks ago. Mounted Kumho V700 205/40/17's on them. They appear to clear the fenders with no problem. They weigh about 25lbs with the tires mounted on them. I haven't driven the car with them on yet, I'm waiting for my heads to come back so I can put the motor back together. I'll let you guys know what the car rides and handles like in about a month or so. The wheels do look to be of very good quality. And they're sure to be an enourmous improvement over the 15x5.5's I was running on!

that's cool (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)
i emailed him last year and the rims at the time were no longer being made in 4x130, i'm glad that our odd little boltspacing is making a comeback! too late for me, however, i just picked up these on ebay. lighter than the revolutions, 6.5+ width, 5" backspacing, 3-piece, blah blah blah, and a little "eighties" looking Attached image(s) |

The Fuch are around 12-13 lbs alone. My new cookies are 13-14 lbs.....bathroom scale stuff. Was that a WAG or didja put em' on a scale? |

What about the Panasport 16x7? Does that fit our cars? Doesn't Panasport also make a 15x7 with the 911R offset?
You know, I've been searching and can't find a Panasport fitment guide. Panasport.com seems useless. |
