Euro-market cars did not get the P O R S C H E letters on the engine lid grille.

Engine grill letters were US only. Car was marketed as a VW Porsche ROW

Round mirror was off the 911. Notice TWO DIFFERENT locations in the pictures. One is in the regular location, the other one is mounted ala 911 on the door frame edge

Early photos from the PORSCHE magazine "Christophorus". The color pic was published in 1969. Note that both the red car and the b&w photo car show round mirrors and the b&w photo depicts a fully upholstered front trunk.

The color photo was in the English #86, April 1970 issue. There are two color photos on the back inside cover.
