I have my tank out and it's time for a repaint on the outside. What are my options to make it look like new? Satin black, semi gloss black?? It's gonna be a rattle can job, so powder coating is out (I want to drive next week (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) )

I did my exterior in semi-gloss powder. Currently doing my interior in POR-15 tank sealer grey:D

There was a TON of media in the tank from the sand blasting prior to powder. The metal prep and about a doze flush washes has the inside ready to seal today. Regardless of how you finish it, make sure everything is out before you install.

I think the semi-gloss looks spot on.

Here's the before pic of the tank. Also a pic of the sealed up inside, the sealer was clear/amber. you can see some of the old sealer that refused to let loose
