Removing throw out bearing pivot stud |

Whats the best way to removing the throw out bearing pivot stud? It's the one with the ball end screwed into the transaxle.

I use a (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sawzall-smiley.gif) and then put it back with (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif)

as socket with a thin sidewall will do, you might need to grind it down a bit ...
