I am finishing up my six conversion. I have a 2.0E motor that I am installing.
The alternator has an internal regulator so I have 3 wires to connect. b+ to battery, D- to ground and D+ which is for the gauge light. When I plug them into the regulator board do I use the plug where the wiresfrom the alternator connected or where the regulator plugged in or does it matter? |

I have mine plugged into the normal alternator plug in and have the relay boards voltage regulator removed, it all seems to work fine that way. You would have to put some spades into the voltage regulator plug in area in order to do it that way but I never tried it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
