The top bolt on that holds the starter on has a casting bump on each side of the bolt head. I can hardly get a open end wrench on the top of the bolt and for sure cant turn it without hitting the casting bumps that are right against the bolt. No way will a socket go on ether. Do I grind the bumps off? Is there another special tool I need to buy?

It's suppose to be like that. Remove the bolt/nut from inside the engine compartment.

It's suppose to be like that. Remove the bolt nut from inside the engine compartment. Ok. I ran my hand to the back thinking that, but didnt see one. I guess cuz its inside the engine compartment. Thanks. Remove the air cleaner for better access ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) |
