Saw a silver 914 in Sausalito this past Friday while we were there for lunch. Anyone on here own that one? We're out here in San fran for vacation. Fun to see another teener once in a while. I don't see any back home. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I fear Sausalito is tad posh for this crowd… (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) Unless the owner lives towards the end where the houseboats are. Lots of rather poor people there ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

Owning a 7 digit houseboat in Sausalito does qualify as a low life…

Owning a 7 digit houseboat in Sausalito does qualify as a low life… Most of them are nowhere near that. I used to life there for years, on two different houseboats. Lots of people without regular income on the boats ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) In fact, up until the mid 90s, there weren't really many nice houseboats out there at all. One of the boats i used to live on, a *huge* old ferry boat with enough space for 4 full sized apartments, was originally bought for $500 and towed there. That's hardly seven figures.
