Where is Sweet Pea now? After searching for a while and looking at many lesser cars, I could not get this fine 914 out of my mind. I contacted Joel, we struck a deal and Melisa and I jumped on a plane for San diego to pick up Sweet Pea. We met with Joel & Shannon, inspected the 914, had a great dinner with new friends, exchanged the paperwork and headed back to the hotel. Next morning, Joel & Shannon delivered our new 914 to the hotel and we headed north.

This 914 runs very strong. Some front end vibrations at 70-75, but otherwise...solid and gets lots of attention wherever it goes.

I am a happy camper!

I've attached a couple pix. Joel & Shannon in tears...Melisa and I smiling durng the hand off. And then................a pic of our first stop.

Can you guess where Sweet Pea is...or at least was yesterday?

regards,
Al

PS: Joel & Shannon are the bomb.

Isn't that Jerry Mahoney's old car? Looks like it's come full circle back to the PNW. Great car!

if that's Jerry's old car then that is one very nice clean car.

I saw it over at kelty's house one day and drooled all over it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif)
