I have a 75 914 and would like to hook up the hose lines to the charcoal canister. I believe that the canister was moved to the engine compartment for this year rather than resting on the gas tank as was the case for earlier models. I have the rocker panels off and can see the routing. There's also a plug in the driver's side wheelhouse that is where the line would go through I think. Any ideas or diagrams would be welcomed. Thanks.

There's a single 3.5mm line from the tank area to the evap can. The 12mm hoses run to the ends of the can from the fan housing and the air cleaner. That's it. IIRC, the small hose is made up of two short hoses ans a long plastic line, which may be green. Or not.
