I'm about to lose my mind over a horn problem.
I've got an aftemarket sport 3 spoke steering wheel on my 914 and can't get the horn to work. When I press the center button I can hear the factory horn relay click but the horn won't blow. I've tried 2 other known good relays in the round horn socket with no luck. I've also taken the horn off the car and it tested good hooked directly to a battery. The round brass contact ring is good on the back of the steering wheel is good along with the 2 brass fingers on the turn signal switch that it contacts. There also is a 2nd wire connected to the horn button that is grounded to the steering wheel as well. Any ideas? Thanx L |

If the relay clicks as you say it does, the wheel and wiring to the horn relay are out of the picture. If the horn works, it's also out of the picture. That leaves the wiring from the relay to the horn.
