Heidi was killed in a motorcycle crash on Sunday morning in Hartford, CT.
We met when she called to ask some questions about her 914 engine, while I was travelling to a race at Pocono in 2005.
She eventually came to work at Tangerine Racing Products as a part time office manager and worked here for about 4 years.
Its a shame that she was never able to fulfill her dream of driving her own 914, which she had disassembled on her own, for restoration.

I met her at your open house. Such a terrible loss, felt deepest by those who worked with her and knew her well. It's a sad time at Tangerine Racing. When you're beyond the shock of so sudden a tragedy, hopefully you'll feel fortunate to have known her so well and thoughts of her will bring smiles to your faces.
