Is there a year of 914 where the key was on the dash and not the steering column? I think the 914-6 had them any other years? I want to trade out my keyed column for a non-keyed and put a push button starter on the dash. It's for a Subaru Conversion.

Thank you for any advise you can give me on this.

it's just oem 911 parts - look in that classified & ebay market & in Pelican et al catalogs

given that everyone who owns or is "restoring" an early 911 is enjoying astronomical market value on both the cars & parts, you may have to pay real money for the pieces

SirAndy has a write up in the install. It's not just a bolt on. It's some fab to make the 911 parts fit into the 914 chassis, dash and wire harness.
