Anyway to disconnect the locking steering wheel mechanism on a 75 ??
When parked and the wheels are turned just a bit its a bitch to get it unlocked. |

Yes, but it will require you remove the ignition switch and cut out the locking tab....not terribly difficult, just time consuming

Sometimes you have to jiggle the steering wheel a little to let the lock release.

Sometimes you have to jiggle the steering wheel a little to let the lock release. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) .... plus try to remember to center the steering wheel once parked, & most of the built-in tire stress will be off the lock. PS - hopefully you can escape the 100+ AV Heat on Saturday, & come by our OC Concours at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley!
