So, LCD screens for desktop use are quite expensive. Seems I can get a used or refurbished LCD projector off of eBay for roughly the same or less than a new LCD monitor.
I'm curious... what brands are best? What make/model would you reccommend? What kinds of problems might there be with one? Any of you use them? TIA (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) |

The biggest things that go wrong on them is the bulb. The 6 that I use are Epson's and Sharps.
Replacement bulbs run about $450 to $500 per bulb. The Epsons are better in pic quality and durability. Dont move them around until after the bulb cools. Don't move them around when hot. that's my .02 . |
