Sir, if you part this car, I would like the first chance to buy the complete steering column/ignition switch. Terrible accident. Looks like it protected you in the crash. Did you have any injury?

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/agree.gif) Fix it. I know you can do it too Jeff. The six Vin numbers have dwindled to a pretty low number. I have seen people on the club save worse 4cyl cars.

You should, at least, try to fix it. If it can't be done, then it can't be done. But then again, I have seen a lot of things that can't be done, get done around here.

Jeff wheres it been hiding? I dont recall seeing it in the Garage (evan after the BIG sale)? I still remember it when it was pristeen because I was living down the street from you and would see it/you on occasion.
My opinion, sell the White car and fix this one. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) |

Get a Cali tub and fix it by transfering the parts to another shell. You'll have a better car and the vin and title can be used on the new shell. Anyone that takes issue with this is goofy. Whats the difference if you hack the 6 down to the pan to complete the repairs or you transfer the stamping into a good car. With all the cowl and pillar damage on that thing It would be cut to ribbons before it was ready to transfer any good panels to it.
