We are redoing our seats before Parade this year and found a place that has a fabric we love. The problem is they won't sell just fabric, only way to get it from them is to let them recover the seats. So now I'm trying to figure out a source for the fabric and we only have a photo. No luck so far. Any ideas?

This is what we currently have:

The current fabric is starting to fade and is NLA.

Since the car is not original it's not an issue.

Likely the only place will be a large upholstery supplier, and then they may only sell fabric in full bolts.

Wasn't 914Rubber recently offering a blue hounds tooth to go along with the factory plaids?

The largest automotive fabric dealer that I know of is SMS in Portland, OR.

Looks like tweed and is likely off the shelf. Unless that place has whole rolls, they are buying from the supplier in your area.

Pretty much all of Vegas buys auto fabric from just one place and they are happy to sell 'retail'.

Personally I'd go for period correct blue tartan/plaid. I think 914rubber has some, if not there is a 70's chevy truck pattern.

Here's the same fabric in yellow

We just really like the darker blue. We have found a lighter blue houndstooth. So if we can't find it. We tried 914rubber they only have completed covers no fabric to sell by the yard.

We have the red, yellow, orange and white on the shelf. Let me know if you want some blue. We currently have what looks like a lighter blue.

Hey I like the tartan a lot, but done not in the obvious colors.. in other words no green tartan in a green car, etc.. Maybe I'm crazy but it just seems a bit much. Thr hounds-tooth is cool and I love the one the OP posted! It's got a durable look to it to. Can you contact whoever took that picture and ask?
