2019 Lake Arrowhead Porsche Timeline!

PORSCHE TIMELINE EXHIBITION

Location: Lake Arrowhead Village

(Placement of cars 7AM to 9:30AM)

The Porsche Timeline Exhibition features cars which illustrate the evolution of Porsche automobiles from the early 1950s to the present. Cars are displayed in chronological order along the Lake Arrowhead waterfront and throughout Lake Arrowhead Village. The exhibit includes placards which discuss the features of the various models. Each car has a data sheet, which includes specific historical and other information of interest. Participants have a chance to relax in a pleasant location, display their cars to other exhibitors, to other members of the Porsche Club and to the public, as well as having the opportunity to discuss the significance of their cars with all who attend. And as the Village is celebrating Oktoberfest during this Exhibition, there is always great food and merchandise available from the local vendors.

There is also a drive out from Riverside Porsche for those interested later in the morning.

It is that time of year again to make our annual drive to Lake Arrowhead for the timeline and Octoberfest celebration! We will be taking a different route this year, which will add about 60 minutes, you do not want to miss this drive. Our journey will start from our wonderful host Walters Porsche; out to Redlands, up through Mentone, past Big Bear, and down into Lake Arrowhead (~100 miles). This is a fantastic drive and detailed instructions are included, please PRINT before arriving. Although it looks a bit confusing you are only traveling on a few highways.

We will be gathering for 30 minutes starting at 08:00 and departing at 08:30. This will put us in the village just before lunch, around 11:30. I hope that you join us for this annual drive, we always attract lots of cars and have a great time. Hey, only a few people get lost, not so bad! See you on the 28th of September at Riverside Porsche.

* Depart from Riverside Porsche: 8423 Indiana, Riverside, CA
* Arrive: Lake Arrowhead Village: 28200 Highway 189, Lake Arrowhead, CA
* Travel time: ~ 3 hours (100 miles)
* Gathering time: 08:00
* Departure time: 08:30
* Link to instructions: click to view and PRINT

Hope to see you there. Besides the display area there will be a Porsche only corral for our cars. I'm working at the corral the first couple of hours so will miss the nice drive. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
