Your preaching to the choir, I have already spent thousands of $$$ with 914 Rubber and plan to spend a lot more until I finish the restoration. As I put everything back together, I keep running into small items that are killing me in shipping, it would be nice if you offered offered free shipping with a minimum order like the Bird does. That being said, I am thankful for what you do to make the restoration and or maintenance of these cars possible. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Cheers, John |

In all fairness you're not missing it we just keep making more stuff. WE can offer free shipping if we jack up the price, doing so means each part has to cover it's shipping. Then we would have to figure out how to no overcharge when you buy a bunch of stuff. It's not as easy as it looks as shipping is based on size not price of product.
It's easier and more transparent to just charge actual shipping. Hope that makes sense |

Mark, do those replace the factory gaskets that on my caps seem to be glued on? |

I believe we are talking about the same part. They replace the ones in the somewhat rectangular metal "caps" that bolt on. Most are missing altogether. These are reusable as they are a high temp silicone. Note we have also included the stainless allen screws so that you can actually get these off later if you so desire without stripping the cheeseheads that factory used.
