Seems my passenger door isn’t latching properly all of a sudden. I really have to slam it for it to latch. The latch works fine if I flip it by hand. It’s seems like I need to move them closer together. The screws loosened right up but there didn’t seem to be any adjustment. Any advice is appreciated.

Try lubricating the latch mechanism first.

I think I got it. I took the jam piece off and cleaned it up then used more force then I wanted to to push it out while tightening it down.

^^^This.
The underlaying issue with 914 door problem and the first thing to break will be the door handle. Be careful. I can repair the flapper if it breaks. |

You should also remove the latch in the door and thoroughly clean and relube it. It's the major cause of broken door handles.
