I have been wanting to replace my salt and pepper carpet for two years and need a carpet set as close to original as possible.

This set has been backordered at the usual place I buy parts for two years

thanks for the link! what I have now is the same as the ""charcoal"" or "grey"" carpet that they sell for 914 however they do have a German loop for Alpha Romeo that looks pretty darn close to my salt and pepper style so I have requested a sample.

salt and pepper which was my original carpet.

I would even considered good used carpet salt and pepper.

I just feel my interior charcoal carpet clashes badly with my paint color which is Phoenix Red or actually closer to Alpha Romeo signal red.

I have one piece of original salt and pepper and it's perfect for the car. When I get the sample I will compare it.

You can get new old stock original pieces from George at AutoAtlanta, I got a drivers side long cover new and original to the car.

+1 Call George. A few years back we bought a full set for our 73, but was more than the cost we bought the car for (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I suspect that the carpet is worth double today.
