So, I’ve replaced the oil cooler, having dropped the engine and removed the fan shroud, alternator, etc., and in spite of my best efforts, have a screw left over.
Can anyone help me identify where this M8X15 belongs? Attached thumbnail(s) |

There is one hole for the engine tin that is oversize. It's for the right-side tin piece that goes over the cylinders and head, but it's on the edge of the tin nearest the centerline of the engine. I am not certain that it's an M8 hole, but it's larger than M6.

Isn’t there an m8 like that on the 2 piece square bracket that holds the cooler?
It’s been a while since I’ve done that job So could be wrong Maybe check the PET? |
