914 with fresh 1.8 and 123 distributor. Idle jets were swapped around , no change.
only seems to happen on #4. Notice the pooof in the barrel when it pops?

Use 1 idle speed adj screw to raise the idle a bit and remeasure the flow across all 4 Venturi. The other ISAS should be off the stop. Then report back with #s. At what rpm does the ‘sneeze’ cease?. What rpm is your idle set at?

I also have seen this if that cylinder is down on compression
Do you have recent compression testing numbers?

idle around 900 airflow at 6
