OK. After my ride yesterday it was obvious to me that I have some work to do on my front end.
Sooo... I ordered new Bilstien struts, ball joint, ball joint nut and tie rod ends. This should all be here next week (right after my checkbook explodes). I need to borrow a ball joint tool. Anybody gots one???? I will be happy to pay for shipping (mailing) and use. Thanks in advance... as usual. |

I'm guessing your talking about the "socket" for the nut. You can use a pipe wrench or a chisel on it. That might be easier than borrowing a tool.

I would *like* to put it back on and torque to proper specs. Pipe wrench is a stand-by if I can't borrow the correct tool. |
