I finally got my polished Fuchs wheels mounted today.

Al Reed polished the wheels and center caps, and chrome plated the lug bolts.

Here are photos of my car with Mahle wheels, Before.

"After" photos with Fuchs are below.........

I've thought about lowng the front.

I assume that I'll need to get a font end alignment after lowering?

Blingady bling bling bro! Why go to five lug, why change perfection! Perfect and sweet by nature; just like that perfect woman who we can never find.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) Get another one if you wanna go crazy like most of us have! Don't give into the dark side with this chased one!!!!!!!

The Mahles came with the car. I am probably going to sell them.

The polished Fuchs were not a cheap endeavor.

I bought five Fuchs wheels with lug bolts for $300. (good deal)

Shipping to Al Reed was $100 total.

Polishing the wheels cost $75 each (no clearcoat) x 5 = $375

Return shipping from Al Reed was $100

Chrome plate my lug bolts cost $50

Dismount tires from Mahles, mount tires on Fuchs & balance cost $130

My total into these wheels is $1055.

Expensive, but I got what I wanted.

Now, I just need to lower the nose of my car...............

Rain?? We'd love to see some rain - maybe cool things down a bit! Supposed to get upwards of 110 in some parts of the SF Bay area tomorrow and the dry, hot, wind factor will drive that number up.

Great job.
Look up a place called.
Little Foreign Car Shop
Watertown MA

They have the knowledge (guy owns a 914 racecar) and tools to do the lowering, corner balancing, and alignment..

Its hard to find a place to do a 914..these guys are cool, and reasonably priced.

Right off of Watertown square.
