I had 25 or 26. I kept stopping to let everyone by, so I could run a clean lap...never happened.

my friend justin said the same thing, i must have gotten lucky because i had a couple laps where i ran flat out..but i agree it was crowded.

i was trying to get a feel for what 55 laps would be like...sounds like a great time now!

This will be on the Dr. Pepper track...however, my best was a 22.87 the only time I drove it.

Dr. Pepper track is pretty good, not as much passing as the No fear track, but a dang good back straight...

So far all of the folks I have driven with said the exact opposite, no fear requires the other driver to let you by...the straight allows for a real pass if you set it up right.

QUOTE(Martin Baker @ Jan 28 2007, 09:49 AM) *

No more hot laps on this folks, 8 drivers need to confirm, to make it happen. If you are on this list you will need to show up, no F'in around. This has to be pre-paid for.

4 March, other details to be announced as they are known.

FOR Trekkor:

As your activities director, I will arange the whole deal in the upcoming week. I will know all the details after the 31st.

The cost is $42.00 per driver.
Current list is here.

1.
2.
3.
4. Rob (I can kick everyone's ass) Sime Huh??? I just hope I can DO 55 laps. All I know for sure is that I can afford 55 laps. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
5. Dan Dalen
6. Andrew Dalen
7. Brett Korven
8. Martin Baker
9. If needed.

I think i averaged around .5 passes per CORNER last time I raced No Fear. (and one of those passes was my dad!!! BOO YA) I dono the real number, but I was passing people left and right.. 2 or three at a time some times.. wait for them to let you pass? HA, find the line, drive it, adjust for traffic.

But I have yet to drive Dr. Pepper track, (only been 2 times) so Im pretty excited!

i had one pointed at me, but i got sort of spun by someone else. I'm not sure if you noticed, but I know the track manager (one of the guys waving the flag from the video) so he went a bit easier on us. I'll talk to him before the next race to see if they will cut us some slack again. He said most guys know when they've messed up and correct it, they are usually tough on everyone, though, because of insurance.

I get them all the time.. but its mainly because im in the wrong place at the wrong time.. What can I say? Im trying to take every oportunity to pass and make fast lap times!

They dont seem to do anything unless what your doing is deliberate or stupid... Then they'll wave you out.
