I'm trippin' on this car. Estimated 500-600 HP Twin Turbo? What's weird is the Walmart hub caps. I certainly don't mean to offend, it just seems slightly odd to me.

Anyone know this car/owner? I'm not familiar with 914 V8 conversions, but it looks like a decent job.

BTW - he wants $4500 for it.

Oh, and the seller is no longer a registered user... must have been a scam. The low price and the stating of the price in the listing pointed to that too.

Can't be pushin too much boost at only 600 HP. I mean, that's a lot, but not for that much displacement. Either that or whoever built the motor just sucks.

Scam or not, I'd still like to see more details about how that animal was put together.

Has anyone ever seen that car before?

That car was on EBAY a few months ago or so, it was also in our for sale forum. I remember it having a buy it now over 10K so it sounds like it could have been a scam... Who knows, it might have been bought via email, under the auction or scammed under the auction.

Talk about 10 pounds of (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stromberg.gif) in a 5 pound bag.

looked like a pewtersmith did the body work, but when it ran right

(maybe I am being a little optimistic) and taking into consideration

that you do survive the ride, I'll bet it would be something to tell the Grand Son.
