Sitting here organizing pics of the car I've been working on for the last 4 months. Thought some of you might like it. Neat little car.
1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale 1 of about 1500 made. I have lost a couple of pics but you can kinda see what the engine compartment looked like when we got it. I have stripped the engine bay, ALL suspension, the WHOLE underside, patched some previous half ass repairs and repainted all of it. I am pretty much done with it so now it goes back up from for the engine to be re-built then we put a wiring harness in it, then I get it back one more time to put in the new carpet and interior. Owner is going to drive it over the summer and bring it back next fall to strip and re-paint. Originally it was white, then red, then this purple twice. It will be going back this purple. Not at all original but I think of the 3 I have seen this color fits the car the best Attached image(s) |

They are gorgeous cars... (I can't imagine that purple paint is the original color though. Is it?)

Morte and more pics turning up missing. I had a MAJOR f-up trying to delete a few pics last week and looks like I lost a LOPT of the ones I didn't want deleted. Are the still on the pooter somewhere? I right clicked, held shift and noticed a bunch of stuff apparently got highlighted that I didn't want highlighted. Yeah Eric the last pic was today. I put the wheels back on and it is now ready to go back to have the engine and wiring harness done. Engine is a 1600 c.c. just like the "typical" Alfas of that period had. Somewhere around 110-120 H.P I've been working on these things for about 3 years now and still don't know the ins and outs of them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

First, move all of the files in your recycle bin to a folder you name as "C:\tempdel"
Then, go to "My Computer" and right click on the "Local Disk C:". Select "Search". In the area titled "All or part of file Name" type in "*.jpg". Then click on the "Search" button. Any files that end in "jpg" sill appear in your search results. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) They can all be recovered as long as you haven't emptied you recycle bin. Go with what Eric said and you should be fine.

Is there any way I can pull up ALL Jpegs on the computer no matter where they have gone? If all else fails, there are "un-delete" programs available. They'll search through the HD, looking to see what files are there. (When you "delete" a file, you don't actually erase it; you just tell the computer that space can be used again by anything else that needs disk space. So you can find files in the "empty" space on the drive.) --DD |
