For the most part, when it comes to mechanic work, I'm pretty organized. But for as long as I've had this '75 2.0 torn apart, it was bound to happen that I'd lose some of the information I wrote down as I was disassembling it. In this case, the wiring harness connections at the relay board.

I would think it's pretty easy to figure out, given that each wire is a certain length coming out of the harness and I should be able to just match it up to the correct pin that way, but I'm never one to just guess. And besides, one thing I remember in particular is that not all of the connections on the board were being used- some of them had been skipped. I think it was the 14 pin I found this on.

Anyway, can anybody point me towards a source for figuring out which wire goes to which pin, for both the 14 and 12 pin connections?

Thank you!

Have you taken a look at Jeff Bowlsby's site?

http://members.rennlist.com/914_wiring_harnesses/ (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

His site includes wiring harness diagrams for just about every 914.

Thanks to ericread and swl- alot of good, useful info on Jeff's site and the old thread. But unfortunately it doesn't have the information I'm looking for. What I need to know is what wire hooks to what pin on the relay board, for each set of connections.

RJMII is going to email me the porsche factory manual on electrical, so hopefully I'll get what I need to know from that.

Thanks guys.
