Sitting here organizing pics of the car I've been working on for the last 4 months. Thought some of you might like it. Neat little car.
1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale 1 of about 1500 made. I have lost a couple of pics but you can kinda see what the engine compartment looked like when we got it. I have stripped the engine bay, ALL suspension, the WHOLE underside, patched some previous half ass repairs and repainted all of it. I am pretty much done with it so now it goes back up from for the engine to be re-built then we put a wiring harness in it, then I get it back one more time to put in the new carpet and interior. Owner is going to drive it over the summer and bring it back next fall to strip and re-paint. Originally it was white, then red, then this purple twice. It will be going back this purple. Not at all original but I think of the 3 I have seen this color fits the car the best Attached image(s) |

Is there any way I can pull up ALL Jpegs on the computer no matter where they have gone? If all else fails, there are "un-delete" programs available. They'll search through the HD, looking to see what files are there. (When you "delete" a file, you don't actually erase it; you just tell the computer that space can be used again by anything else that needs disk space. So you can find files in the "empty" space on the drive.) --DD |

What happens is that the file is re-named such that unless you use a special program, you can't find them. The memory space is made available for over-writing. The only way a file is destroyed is if it's written over. This is also true with digital camera memory cards. I had a friends wife format the memory card in his camera that had their new-born's photos showing the birth. Rather hard to replace. I took the card to my computer guy and he was able to retrieve most of them. Wes V |
