Hey guys, been through a bunch of threads on the AAR. It wasn't clear to me how to test it when it's off the car. There was mention of hooking up a 12v sorce to it so it heats up and closes. How exactly do I do that? Do I hook up a + line off my car battery to the wire off the AAR? Does it need to be grounded when I do that?
Thanks, Tod |

So when I hook it up to the car battery and ground it, how long should it take before it closes?
Thanks for the replies. I seen the rebuilt article by Mr Anders. Was rather interesting. The one I have now, is a rebuild from AA. I can see where the lip was cut off then epoxied upon repair. I have the original that went bad do the wire shorting, think I'll try the repair on that being it's toast any way. |
