Sorry for the ignorance, the Haynes manual didn't say nor could I find it in the search.
I bought a new VDO guage for the center console to replace the non-working (I think) old guage. The new guage is right from the box so I'm assuming it's a working product. The needle on it too doesn't move off zero. So I'm assuming (that word again), it's the sending unit. But I don't know where it is and staring at the engine for 15 minutes didn't help either. Thanks! oil temp sensor...ok
Taco plate on the bottom of the motor. Wire runs up the front of the motor and attaches to a connnection right under the ECU....its a great place for corrosion...whoda thunk. There is also another connection under the carpet, just in front of the shifter, passenger side of the tunnel. Rich |
