To get mine to align I used a jack to lift the arm. To protect the arm place a piece of wood between the two. Be careful not to push up on the heat shield.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) You may be on to something, my first pic shows the V notch isn't in the center of the hole likely because the strut bottom corner is hitting the hanging a-arm. Will jack it up and install the pin again... |
