The stamping is NOT always in the center in front of the lock. It is sometimes on the passenger side of the trunk floor. I know of at least 3 examples. T.C. |

Probably, but I don't see where the post says it's in the center? Hand stamping by definition can be arbritrary and is up to the stamping person. One would assume that the same person did most if not all the stamps for the company unless he/she was out sick. The pictures do not show gaping holes or grind marks where stamps would normally be found. The trunk and the passenger side fender are two examples. One would assume that those areas are avoided on purpose. |
