I pulled away from a stop sign and noticed this light flashing. I drove right back home, but everything seemed fine. I turned it off and restarted it and now it doesn't flash any more.
Isn't it a brake light?  |

The combo gauges in such cars had a red lens in that position for the torque converter temp warning (at least, that is what I've read... it's not like I've ever seen a 914/6 sporto combo gauge). In the gauges with the yellow filler lens, the bulb behind that lens is shielded by a reflective metal tab to provide backlighting for the gauge. |
