Hi everyone,
I am a new owner of the 914 and have been learning a lot from this site. My '74 2.0 died 3 times on the road since my owner ship(last December) but this community site makes me possible to keep the car running. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving-girl.gif) I never feel like giving up. This is amazing! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif) By the way, as for the 914 tranny, I remember some one says synthetic fluid is not good. How about synthetic blend fluid? Is synthetic blend OK as long as it is GL5 rated? It is time for my 914 to change the speedo angle drive so I will change the fluid at the same time. Mahalo in advance! i personally never had trouble with swepco. also, i don't think per ounce and given the life of the oil, that it's too expensive. |
