I know I have seen a thread somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it.
Can I change the clutch PP and disk without pulling the axles? My 1911 is just not ready for install and I don't want to miss the 914 meet. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |

I know I have seen a thread somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it. Can I change the clutch PP and disk without pulling the axles? My 1911 is just not ready for install and I don't want to miss the 914 meet. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) I don't see how you could... I think you'd have to unbolt the CV joints to get the transaxle back far enough. When are you planning on tackling this? |

I think you'd have to unbolt the CV joints to get the transaxle back far enough. When are you planning on tackling this? Tomarrow. I have to push the notchback (not ready for paint) out in the street first if I can't slam this clutch job quickly. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) |
