I'v had my 75 914 for 26 years and still have the original POS Schucks headlights. There must be better headlights Available at a reasonable price.I'm sure the sales catologs have lights for sale , but thought I'd ask here what 914ers are using and are happy with. thanks for the input.

With all low cars visablity seems to be a problem,I know it has been for me anyway. I've tried just about every type headlight made with minimal improvement, UNTIL I installed a pair of 'European' spec Hellas. The improvement was remarkable, excellant illumination on low beams,and incredable on highs.Although they're DOT approved only for motorcycles at this time, Your unlikely to have any problems as they don't blind oncoming traffic or produce excessive glare. |
