I met this old ferrari guy who took me through his photo album and pointed out all the cars he had totalled in his years.
He thought it was funny. what have you crashed that you wished you still had? |

-19yo Crashed 82 Honda Magna into side of Winnebago when it made a U-turn in front of me. 1st day of my 1st bike (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
- 96, riding from Emoryville near Oakland to SFO on my new 94 Honda Magna in a torrential down poor with winds gusting to 60mph I exited the fwy at SFO and rounded a corner to end up in a 6"deep flooded street. Surfing USA. Dinged the tank, thats all. - Junior year of college, rear ended my 87 BMW K75S at the top of a hill while stopped at a stop light. "Totaled" due to parts cost. Easily restored and was able to drive it home from the accident. That bike was a tank. - Senior year on college, same K75S, side swiped as I was exiting a freeway. Caught about 10' of air, nothing broken on me, gas tank had broken fuel nipple so had to have it towed. Totaled again due to parts cast. Easily restored and repainted and re streeted. Told you it was a tank! It is still running. - One week after the aforementioned bike accident, dumbass pulls out in front of me in my beloved 91 Jeep Cherokee and totaled it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I had about 30Kmi on the rebuilt engine. That jeep was a great car. - Last April, day after the Hershey swapmeet, 914 met telephone pole after leaving road. Totaled (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) This was the only one that I take the blame for, though. |
