I've been asked by a few of of you to look into making these. The tooling is not inexpensive, but there apears to be a need to produce these. We're making some improvements, all the metal in the bumper will be stainless. We will also provide the nuts with nylon lock nuts. The rubber will be slighly harder. I will have the first samples in about 4-5 weeks. Production will be about 2 weeks after.

Mark, for future runs, would it be possible to get out the slight dimples? I understand OEM pieces came that way due to the materials and manufacturing process...and that you templated yours on an original... Just thought I'd ask. On the flipside, if the dimples stay, the piece will look more authentic, yeah? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Mark, sorry I wasn't being clear. Please see photo attached - I pointed to a few spots that are indicative of what I'm referring to. Am not trying to find fault with your work, as I think your piece is beautiful! I see the same surface imperfections on new OEM pads. Just curious why they're there and whether it would be possible to manufacture new pieces w/o them. The rear moulding doesn't seem to have this issue, from the ones I've seen, OEM or aftermarket (aftermarket being better/straigher, actually, probably due to the density and slight texture difference). I know I'm a little rententive...but I seriously have had people ask why I didn't install a new front pad when I had replaced all my other exterior trim, even though my pad was new!
