The rear latch for the roof attachment seems to be "unfinished" somehow. Because it has been 2 1/2 years since I've been around and under my car, this is one of the areas that I don't remember how it once looked. Do I recall a black trim piece around this opening, or did I just dream it?

Ok, Pat is correct. For some reason, in spite of the picture, I was thinking of the top of the roll bar, not underneath. There is a trim surrond on the top, none on the underside where the latch handle is.

D'oh! I was making the exact same misstake. My bad!
