My 914 rear trunk area was cut out and replace with new tin I was installing
a rear OEM sway bar and it was hitting the heat shield for the muffiler in order to get the sway bar in I had to remove it do I need to put it back in I'm running a Sebring Exhaust system |

I took mine off years ago and haven't had any problem with the trunk getting too hot
Then again, I don't have an engine in the car..... |
