I am looking for a single or double cab i would prefer a rustless version but may take something with a bit of surface, it does not need to look pristine, flat old paint will do, run it must
i will be looking on the samba as well
but if you guys see one
that does not cost the moon
pm me the info, or link
i know this should be posted in the wanted section...but i thought it would get better airplay here
thanks a ton

I have to agree that pre-68 type II's in general, For what he wants to pay is a definite "fixer-upper". For 5 to 7K you will more than likely have to re-place a few panels, have to build a motor and find some if not several expensive parts. 10K is probably a better starting point. Atleast thats what I (the wife) plan on spending for a decent "Project" if I can find one and I finish the 914. Good luck and happy hunting!!!
