Oct 10-11!
The important stuff ( clarified 6/18): *If you bring one or more gear boxes for rebuild then the cost is $300 *Spectating is free and you can ask questions (but will have to wear a thong on the out side of your pants so we know you are freeloading (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ) *The cost includes: gloves, rags, cleaners, parts trays, aluminum baking sheets for parts cleaning spots, sarcasm, foul language (when no kids around), etc. *New parts area available through me ( I will beat any suppliers prices, let me know). Seal kits area available before hand for $40 *People are encouraged to bring cores to part out as people will potentially need more parts than I will have. *The clinic is 2 full days and I will work as long as you do. I usually start at 0930 and go until after 2200 if necessary. *PM me if you are going to be a paying guest and make sure to tell me which clinic you are going to attend. Updated 8/24 Paying students (10) - Zimms (PAID) - gerziebaker (PAID) - Fourblades (PAID) - William Grier (PAID) - Obscurity (PAID) - JazonJJordan (paying day of) - JimmyG (Paying day of) - Bag5rcg (paying day of) - ncfj40 (paying day of) - Michael Moorman (Paying....sometime?) - John Grier (Trying to get off of work) Spectators (15) - blitz - Pnambic - carr914 - URY914 - 904svo - SGB - mharrison - John Jentz - stepuptothemike - poorsche914 - Joe Owensby - d914 - Son of ncfj40 - Al Merideth - Matt Plasket |

Why do I bother???? Group: Members Posts: 633 Joined: 8-September 03 From: Madison, MS Member No.: 1,123 |
I would be interested in this. The date will be the deciding factor though. (It will also decide if I DRIVE the teener over or haul my transmission!)
That brings up a good point. Will there be facilities/time to R&R the transmission? Or would attendees need to plan to show up with a loose transmission? |

Will there be facilities/time to R&R the transmission? Or would attendees need to plan to show up with a loose transmission? That depends. I am open to R&Ring, but those people would need to show up earlier and it depends on how many there are. R&R would kick ass as you would be testing your rebuilt the same day (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Is there anyone that would not be able to make it to AH? Is everyone cool with AH? If the distance to AH doesnt cut into out clinic too much, since it is a 2 day event that is 8 hours of driving over 2 days which is a lot of shop time, then I am cool with it and it would be a great excuse. Is Michael's place closer to everyone? Michael, I'll be in touch soon. |
