The stock mirrors on my 914 suck IMHO. They angle downward (not on a horizontal plane), and only adjust in and out...not up and down. Anybody have an opinion on an option that will cover the stock placement holes, is black and provides a better view?

Those bullet mirrors or torpedo mirrors that have been discussed are actually called Talbot Mirrors and were quite popular with sports cars in the 60's. I think they are still available through sources like Pegasus Racing.
Ken my suggestion is that you just install a stronger motor. Then you only need your window mounted rear view to look back and check to see if the cops have given up yet! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/busted_cop.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) |
