Hey 914 gang, I'll host another get together, BBQ and swimming. So bring family too. When? Saturday August 22. Plenty of time to plan and arrange our schedules (okay maybe). If you've been here before you know the place. I'll post more details as we get closer to the date, but we're basically just north of Frederick, MD off route 15. Zymurgist how's your brew stock? We'll provide the main dish, and ask that you all bring your favorite side dish. We can accommodate overnighters if you want to travel from afar. Don't be shy!
Look forward to seeing you all ! Who's in: Zymurgist - Ken (1) Vacca Rabite - Zach (3) Dr Evil - Mike (1) Okieflyr - Kevin (2) Mike Spraggi (1?) |

It was a great time again. We enjoyed hosting you all for a visit. Unfortunately the weather tried to mimic last years ECC - thankfully not as much - we still huddled under the 10x10 and the other deck awnings. Thanks to Kevin for the great chips & dip. Who brought the quiche - or Egg Pie as the kids called it. Ray brought some great shrimp and awesome 1634 Ale from "Frederick Brewing co." Ken supplied a sample of some of his best bubbly as well.
We'll do this again next summer - hope to make it an annual gathering. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif) It was good to see the hardcore even if we were a little close. (I could have sworn there was some groping going on). Matt's kids provided some bar tricks and majic entertainment. Once again not to be out done, Mike had to show that he can blow harder than the kids. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) This one has to last me until next spring since I won't be able to attend the ECC 09. It did rain all the way home, but the rainex did it's job and was uneventful. |
