Someone new to 914s comes along and until they learn their resources they have to ask. A little gentler response might go a long ways... Besides, we all live in a different culture. Some of us are CW's, some autocrossers, some track rats, some just want to street drive the car. Those answers are different much of the time depending on the culture. Open discourse allows the new person and the rest of us to learn something new and see it from the other culture.
