I would like to disable the seating and seat belt warning system in my 73. I have
aftermarket seats and belts and don't want to deal with this system. So can I tie
certain wires to ground or to each other to make the 914 brain happy?

I can post pictures of the wires when I get home.

Don't want to cut up my wiring harness too much.

Thanks,

John

To disable the buzzer you need to go under the passenger seat, unplug the silver box (looks like a relay, but its not a relay) and that disables everything.
It also disables the starter circuit so you need to (as said above) jumper the two large yellow wires together. The easiest way to do this is to make a 1.5 inch thick wire with two male spades on it and plug it into the appropriate slots on the brown block that you pulled the silver thing out of...
