I would like to disable the seating and seat belt warning system in my 73. I have
aftermarket seats and belts and don't want to deal with this system. So can I tie
certain wires to ground or to each other to make the 914 brain happy?

I can post pictures of the wires when I get home.

Don't want to cut up my wiring harness too much.

Thanks,

John

OK, so I searched some more using +seat +warn titles only and found a post
from 4 years ago. It says don't cut off any wires where there are two wires
crimped to one lug because the circuit continues somewhere else after all the
seat stuff (Dave Darling posted this info). So you can cut stuff off but only
if you reconnect wires crimped to the same terminal. Connect the two big
yellows (or maybe yellow and red).
