Hi all i'm coming to the US!! Well me and my best mate are planning a road trip which we have been hoping to do for some years now. We are really looking for sights and people to meet along the way. Our schedule is quite tight with many one night stops but we are hoping to cover as much ground as possible in the 6 weeks we have. Got to see a few 914 on my travels too... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/santa_smiley.gif)

Wow.
Thank you so much, i think we will be taking you up in the offers of a meet or place to crash! Our budget is a bit limited but it is one of those once in a lifetime trips before we settle down to our careers so you guys really would be helping us out and it is uber appreciated! Car wise we are hoping to purchase one around NY as that is where we are starting, insurance is still the big unknown but we have budgeted about $1600 for it so hopefully a few calls today should get that sorted/ outlined. (insurance over here is very expensive if under 25 and works very differently so we'll see what happens ) Nick and i are having another 'trip planing meeting' (read: few beers with laptop +google) next week adding in all these details so there will be a thorough plan added soon!
