Has anybody ever figured a way to put a reverse lockout on a stock shifter? I know people have put in a heavier spring.

When I was running a stock shifter in my v8914 I asked the same question without any luck. I went ahead and adjusted my linkage where R/1 was further to the right and took a deliberate push over to get it in. Then of course, I don't use 1st so it was no big deal. I finally went to a Renshift with the lockout.

My other 914's stock shifter has a lockout. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
